MP receives light rainfall
Bhopal, Aug 24 (UNI) Several places in Madhya Pradesh including the state capital today received light rainfall, while drizzle occurred at other places.
Courtesy an upper air cycer from West Bengal moving towards Madhya Pradesh, good rainfall is expected in the next 2-3 days, a regional meteorological department spokesperson said.
Damoh and Sidhi recorded overnight precipitation of two cm and one cm. Showers were predicted at isolated places in Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Indore and Bhopal divisions in the next 24 hours.
However, a rise of temperature was witnessed in most places due to mostly clear weather. A high of 31 degree Celsius was recorded in the state capital, while the minimum was 23 C.
Mercury hovered around 33-34 C in Jabalpur, Satna, Rewa and Gwalior.
