Hold fresh polls after dissolving J'khand assembly, Mehta
Hazaribagh, Aug 24 (UNI) CPI state secretary and local MP Bhuvnehwar Mehta today demanded dissolution of Jharkhand assembly and holding fresh election to the 82-member house.
Talking to reporters here Mr Mehta said that any alternative or coalition government would not be favourable for the state as it would be formed after much of bargaining.
''In the present political scenario when independents are claiming to be intact then they would definitely bargain to extend their support to form government'', Mr Mehta claimed.
Referring to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Shibu Soren's claim for the post of Chief Minister, Mr Mehta said that condition would deteriorate if power went in Soren's hand.
To a query he said that any decision over extending support to Mr Soren would be taken later on. The party had one member in state assembly.
Mr Koda alongwith five other Independents yesterday resigned after the UPA government was reduced to a minority when the JMM with 17 MLAs withdrew support on August 17.
