Congress favours alternative models of negotiation in J and K
New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) The Congress today said India's liberal, vibrant democracy was open to accepting all possible alternative models of negotiation for improved autonomy in Jammu and Kashmir.
''But, to those who seek the giving up of Indian territorial integrity--whether they be ultra liberal members of Indian civil society or separatists in J and K--I can only remind them of India's Parliamentary resolution claiming back all the territory wrongly described as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK),'' AICC Spokesman Abishek Manu Singhvi said here.
''That Parliamentary resolution should always remain a stark reminder of India's consistent stand on territorial secessionism,'' he said.
