3 dead, 20 injured in Kashmir accidents
Srinagar, Aug 23 (UNI) Three people were killed and 20 injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said a woman Nahida was killed on the spot and three were wounded when a vehicle in which they were travelling at Khardong village Nobra in Leh met with an accident. The injured were hospitalised.
One Nisar Ahmad Bhat, travelling on top of a bus, was killed after he got in touch with an electric wire at Bijbhera in Anantnag district. Four others were also injured, they said.
A 12-year-old boy identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar was killed on the spot when he was hit by a vehicle at Raithan in the central Kashmir district of Badga.
Sources said in two other accidents at Pattan and Charar-e-Sharief, thirteen people were injured. The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
