Street urchin rescued, sent to school
Kakinada, Aug 22 (UNI) Five college sudents rescued a orphan boy and handed him over to the police from a railway station in this district of Andhra Pradesh.
Police said the ten-year-old boy Gooada Pavan Kalyan's parents died at Bhadrachalam when he was a child and since then was begging for his survival.
The boy was handed over to the 'Child Line Project yesterday.
The Project Director G Satyanarayana has admitted him today in the Bridge School for Child Labour at Jaggampet with necessary facilities, thus paving a future for the street urchin.
