Sydney, Aug.22 : Having formally announced his separation from his wife Elizabeth, Australian fast bowler Brett Lee will miss vital team strategy meetings this week as his parents help him to deal with the stress of the breakdown of his marriage.
The camp in Queensland is where Australia's top players are plotting their plans for the next 12 months of cricket - which includes challenging Test series against India, South Africa and the Ashes in England next year.
"All our planning for the next 12 months will come from the camp. I think the one thing I want to make clear at the camp is we have some really tough cricket coming up before England next year. We have three massive Test series in the next year," said Australian Vice Captain Michael Clarke.
Lee was given permission to miss the camp and the three-match one-day series against Bangladesh in Darwin beginning next week after the breakdown of his marriage. He spent yesterday with family and close friends working out his next move.
