After bomb threat, now it is earthquake hoax
Gulbarga, Aug 22 (UNI) After putting out bomb threats over phone, miscreants have now chosen earthquake to scare people.
Panic prevailed in five districts on Hyderabad-Karnataka border last night following a message over phone that an earthquake would strike and people should be put on alert. People came out of their houses in panic in Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Koppal and Bijapur and stayed out for about three hours.
Deputy Commissioner K S Satyamurthy and SP Devajyothi Ray, however, clarified that they had not received any official information about earthquake and only rumours were being spread by some miscreants.
