SIMI leader Safdar Nagori sought by Karnataka police
Indore, Aug 20 (UNI) Karnataka police have sought custody of five activists of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) along with its leader Safdar Nagori lodged in Indore jail for presenting them before a court in Karnataka in August end.
Police sources said a warrant issued by the court in this regard had been received.
Meanwhile, Safdar Nagori has been shifted to Rewa jail.
Earlier, four SIMI activists were taken by Karnataka police from Indore jail but have not been brought back. Jail Superintendent Sanjay Pandey has written to Karnataka police in this regard.
