Nitish reviews flood situation, directs to accelerate relief works
Patna, Aug 20(UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today reviewed the flood situation in the state and directed the officials to step up the relief works among flood victims.
Mr Kumar reviewed the flood situation here at a high level meeting and streeesed the need for accelerating the pace of relief works among the flood victims. Officials having experience in tackling flood situation would be sent in flood affected areas to monitor the relief and rescue the operation, he added.
''Two senior IAS officers-- Arvind Choudhary and N Shrawan Kumar and other officers of Bihar Administrative Service would be deputed in flood affected areas to monitor the relief and rescue operation from today it self'', he said.
