London, Aug 20 : Jade Goody participated in Indian version of Big Brother despite of knowing she may have cancer, reports the Daily Star.
Before flying to India, the 27-year-old star knew there was 'a strong chance' she had cancer but said that she needed the show fee to support her two sons.
Goody left her two young children Bobby, five, and Freddie, three, for a planned three-month stint on Big Boss, saying before she left: "A lot of people will criticise me for it, but I have to pay my bills. I need to make sure I can support my boys."
"I have to keep working to support my family. Stopping work is not an option," she added.
Goody, who earned a reported 100,000 pounds for her appearance in Mumbai, flew back to London after test results revealed she has cervical cancer.
