About 10,000 CPI(ML) workers arrested under jail bharo andolan
Lucknow, Aug 20 (UNI) Police today held Uttar Pradesh Communist Party of India (Marxist&Leninist) workers in the state, who were protesting against price hike, nuclear deal and police firing on farmers in Greater Noida.
CPI (ML) had announced nationwide 'jail bharo andolan' over the issues and today about 10,000 workers gave arrests in the entire state under the andolan.
CPI (ML) Polit bureau Ramji Rai was arrested along with others in Allahabad, however, hundreds others gave arrests in the state capital.
Thousands of CPI(ML) workers marked the andolan by offering self for arrest to the police at several districts.
