Install audio systems in court of CJI: SC
New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) The Supreme Court has ordered the installation of audio systems in the court of Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan on an experimental basis.
The Supreme Court administration has already told the CPWD to install an audio system in court number 1.
The system would preserve the arguments made by the Councel for the parties and help the judges refresh their memory of arguments made in a particular case while writing judgements.
In a number of cases, the judges reserve their judgements after hearing the arguments in the case and deliver the judgement after some time.
Many times parties feel that their arguments have not been considered by the court while pronouncing judgements.
The audio system will be installed in other benches of the apex court and later the experiment may be implemented in High Courts of the country also.
