Kochi, Aug 19 (UNI) The CBI today informed the Kerala High Court there were definite clues regarding the culprits in the Sister Abhaya Murder Case.
Investigating Officer R K Agarwal submitted to Mr Justice V Ramkumar though there were definite clues, there was no clinching evidence to book the cuprits.
To a definite query, the officer also informed the court that there was no internal or external influence in the investigating process of the case.
The court had observed that there were differences between the CD, which documents the narco-analysis tests conducted on Father Thomas Kottur, Father Jose Puthrikae and Sister Sephy, produced by the investigating agency and those submitted by the Forensic Scientific Laboratory (FSL), Bangalore.
Mr Justice Ramkumar observed in the order that FSL had forwarded three separate CDs while the CBI had submitted only one CD of the narco-analysis report.
The three CDs had more details than the one submitted by the CBI to the court.
The body of Sister Abhaya was found in the well of St Pius Convent at Kottayam on March 27, 1992.
