Police nab three for selling tiger skin
Bangalore, Aug 18: The city police on Monday, Aug 18 arrested three persons when they were allegedly trying to sell two tiger skins worth over Rs 15 lakhs.
Police said a team Central Crime Branch nabbed three culprits on a tip off and confiscated skin of two tigers from their possession.
One of the arrested identified as S Kodandapani was from Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu while the other two P Venkataswamy and M David Kumar were locals.
They had procured the tiger skin from a Daba operator of Chandapura in the outskirts of the city, Police added.
