Groundnutseed, its oil

Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palmolein remained steady today on moderate demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kgs), sunflower exp ref and rice bran moved down by Rs 5 per ten kgs each on sluggish demand from stockists.

Cottonseed refined and castor comm also slipped by Rs 8 and Rs 7 per ten kg respectively amid heavy selling pressure by industrial users.

However, groundnut oil and palmolein remained steady on moderate demand by stockists, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), seasameseed whitish and nigerseed 4 rose by Rs 50 and Rs 25 per quintal respectively on fresh demand by bulk consumers.

Castorseed Disa fell by Rs 80 per quintal on lower buying support.

In De-oiled cakes, rapeseed extr and kardi extr declined by Rs 200 and Rs 100 per metric tonne respectively, traders added.
