Indian fake currency gang busted in Dubai
{image-fake currenc_18082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Dubai, Aug 18: A four-member gang, involved in counterfeiting and circulating fake Indian rupees, have been arrested by Dubai Police.
The Dubai Police Cyber Crime Department received information about an Asian gang who were in possession of huge amounts of fake Indian rupees and were planning to circulate them inside and outside the country. The gang was looking for brokers or direct buyers. An undercover policeman succeeded in penetrating the gang and busting it. Police officials said the printing technology and the paper used in the racket were so perfect that only experts and hi-tech devices could detect them, the Gulf News said. The police, however, could not identify the nationality of the culprits yet.
