New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) Germany-based Deutsche Bank today said it has appointed Prashant Joshi as head of its retail network 'Private&Business Clients' in the country with immediate effect.
He, who holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), will also oversee implementation of the bank's retail banking platform in the country.
Mr Joshi was earlier with Standard Chartered Bank, where he was the general manager for the small and medium enterprise business in India, the Bank said in a statement.
International banks, hurt by credit-related losses, are seeing business shrink in the West and are concentrating on developing markets such as India for growth.
