CPI(ML) criticises Mayawati's governance
Lucknow, Aug 18 (UNI) Accusing Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government in Uttar Pradesh of having failed on all fronts, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Lenninist) today ridiculed Mayawati's desire to become Prime Minister without any agenda.
The party released a booklet on the 15-month rule of the BSP government, saying it has completely failed to efface the peoples' problems.
CPI (ML) state secretary Sudhakar Yadav told mediapersons that neither Ms Mayawati has any agenda to run the country, in case she becomes the PM, nor she had done anything good for the state during her regime.
In the 28-page booklet titled ''Uthatha Parda, Barta Janvekshob'', the party talked about the lapses of the state government in different developmental projects.
It said the government was even neglecting the dalits and backwards.
The party questioned the Chief Minister why criminals were joining her party.
The CPI(ML) leader said party workers would hold a 'Jail Bharo' programme on August 20 to protest the police firing on the farmers of Greater Noida in the state.
