Congress will keep secular forces together in Jharkhand : Manish
New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) The Congress Party said it would try its best to keep all the secular forces together under the evolving political situation in Jharkhand, where the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) yesterday withdrew its support to the Madhu Koda government.
AICC Spokesman Manish Tewari told mediapersons that the Congress had not withdrawn its support. But the JMM, in its political wisdom for whatever reasons, had withdrawn its support.
''There is an evolving political situation. The new political reality has to be dealt with,'' he said, while pointing out that the Congress would support JMM leader Shibu Soren if he had the numbers in his support.
