CBI assures HC of solving Sister Abhaya murder case
Kochi, Aug 18 (UNI) The CBI today informed the Kerala High Court that no stone will be left unturned to book the culprits of the Sister Abhaya murder case.
The investigating officer R K Agarwal, DYSP, CBI in his report submitted before Justice V Ramkumar, said that the investigating team was making further efforts to corroborate the facts revealed during the nacro-analysis tests of Father Thomas Kottur, Father Jose Puthrikae and Sister Sephy to unravel the mystery shrouding Sister Abhaya's murder case.
The investigating agency had also submitted that final report on the case would be submitted before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam, as soon as the investigation was completed.
The CBI also informed the court that the CD forwarded to the CBI by Forensic Scientific Laboratory (FSL), Bangalore alongwith the narco-analysis reports were not tampered with.
Besides Mr Agarawal, R M Krishna, SP was also present at the court.
The court has posted the case for further hearing tomorrow.
It may be recalled that Sister Abhaya's body was found in the well of St Pius Convent at Kottayam on March 27, 1992.
