Athavale urges Rane to be patient
Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) Republican Party of India (A) president and MP Ramdas Athavale today urged Maharashtra revenue minister Narayan Rane to be patient and avoid any hasty decision.
Mr Athavale, while interacting with mediapersons here, asked Mr Rane to be patient in the backdrop of his outburst on the issue of Videocon land allotment. Interestingly, Mr Rane was ignored in yesterday's appointments by the Congress high command.
''Congress needs a leader like Mr Rane to take on Shiv Sena. Also Mr Rane should not leave Congress as his political ambition will be fulfilled only by remaining in the party,'' Mr Athavale opined.
