Lahore, Aug 17 (UNI) The quandrangular T20 tournament in Toronto, originally supposed to begin on August 14, has been rescheduled and will now start on October 10.

The four-nation tournament, which involves Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and hosts Canada is aimed at reviving international cricket in Canada.

The decision of rescheduling the matches came after the West Indies Cricket Board failed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the organisers of the event.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) seems satisfied with the decision, as they have approved the event's new dates as their squad will remain free from any other international commitment in October.

The four-day event ends on October 13.
