Melbourne, Aug 17 : An Australian man has gained court injunction preventing his ex-girlfriend from cutting off his penis.
Tony Goodchild told Darwin Magistrates Court that the woman was trying to hunt him down and threatening to 'cut his penis off'.
The unusual application caused laughter in the courtroom.
However, Goodchild appeared deadly serious, shaking and clutching backpacks throughout the hearing.
"I'm pretty scared,'' News.com.au quoted him, as saying.
Goodchild told the court that he went out with the woman for four years.
Claiming he has been hiding out since his former girlfriend threatened to hunt him down - Tony Goodchild can now breathe a sigh of relief.
After making Goodchild take an oath, Magistrate Greg Cavanagh granted an interim domestic violence order, which prevents his ex from approaching or threatening him.
Cavanagh adjourned the case for two weeks to give NT police time to serve her with the order.
