Kolkata, Aug 16 (UNI) Ahead of derby match against East Bengal on Tuesday, strong contenders Mohammedan Sporting today stormed into the pole position in Sahara Kolkata Football League scoring 3-1 against bottom line Peerless Sports Club at Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
Theodore Sunday was livewire for Md Sporting in absence of veteran Mike Okoro. Scoring a goal and creating for another in the first half, the Liberian was devastating in the second half also, but rival goalie Arunava Das stood firm to concede his goal.
