'Summer 2007','Delhi Heights'at UK Indian filmfest from tomorrow
New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) A host of films emanating from the stable of "new wave" cinema in India will rub shoulders with mainstream commercial Bollywood ventures at a festival of Indian films to be held at London from tomorrow.
On show at a 10-day Indian Film Festival Fantastic Bollywood at London from tomorrow to August 23 will be 12 films from various Indian languages which include flicks like 'Bhairavi', 'Summer 2007', 'Mannat', 'Kabhi Socha Na Tha', 'Swami', 'Delhi Heights', 'Strangers', 'Zindagi Rocks', 'Sheelabhathi', 'Maayavi', 'Nottam' and 'Kadha Parayumbol', Devanand Nair, the coordinator of the Festival said.
Minister (Economic) of the Indian High Commission, S Jagadeesan will inaugurate the festival, to be held at Mantra 37, at Central London, Mr Nair said.
Noted Malayalam filmmaker Sarath is the festival director and Mr T Haridas, an officer of the Indian High Commission and the Chairman of 'Anandha Mantra', a London based cultural association of NRIs, is the Chief Organiser.
