Precious metals recover: Bombay bullion Association
Mumbai, Aug 13: After Tuesday, Aug 12's crash, both the precious metals recovered Wednesday, Aug 13, with silver rising by Rs 425 per kg to Rs 21,870 and gold by Rs 105 per ten gm to Rs 11,405, on good demand by industrial users in view of encouraging global advices, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
In the international markets, a positive trend was observed too, with gold edging up at USD 825.00/825.25 an ounce from USD 822.00/822.50 an ounce and silver to USD 14.85/14.86 an ounce from USD 14.65/14.71 an ounce, traders informed.
Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 21,870 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 11,405 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 11,485.
