Patna, Aug 13 (UNI) RJD today alleged that JD(U) was busy tarnishing the image of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad by circulating fake documents, indicating his alleged involvement in getting the land registered in the name of his family members from aspirants trying for jobs in the Railways.
RJD national spokesman Shyam Rajak and state president of the party Abdul Bari Siddiqui told newspersons here that JD(U) leaders first tried to tarnish the image of Mr Prasad by planting concocted stories in a news channel and when it failed to have the desired results, they circulated fake documents to fulfil their 'sinister design.' '' There is not even an iota of truth in the allegations levelled by the JD(U) leaders,'' RJD leaders claimed and said Mr Prasad would shun public life if the allegations were found to be true.
''The Income Tax department has all the details about the properties of Mr Prasad and he being a Union Minister submits the updated details to the Prime Minister Office(PMO) annually,'' they said.
