Curfew relaxed in Srinagar, Budgam and Samba

{image-j&k_13082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Srinagar, Aug 13: Srinagar, Budgam and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a relaxation of curfew from 8 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, Aug 13 to help residents buy the necessary daily needs. The curfew, however, is being continued in other major towns of the Valley without any ralaxation, sources said. It was clamped on Monday, Aug 11 following major protests and security forces firing, in which senior Hurriyat Conference (HC) leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz and five others were killed and over 300 wounded.

As many as 13 people were killed and about 400 injured, half of them police and security personnel, after people defied curfew restrictions and clashed with the forces across the Valley on Tuesday, Aug 12.
