Amy Winehouse goes back to work
London, Aug 13 : Troubled English singer Amy Winehouse has finally decided to take life seriously and has gone back to record her new album.
Winehouse's eagerness to work is because she would like an early release of her album before her husband Blake Fielder-Civil gets out of jail, possibly at the end of the year.
The 'Rehab' singer wants to show Fielder-Civil that she has been doing something productive and not wasting her time while he was in jail, and she also wants to give him a public tribute on the album.
The singer plans to write "For My Blakey x" on the sleeve, and it could even be a song title.
"Now she has some kind of timescale for Blake's release it has given her some focus. She wants something to impress him with because he has accused her of just sitting around doing nothing while he has been serving time," the Sun quoted a pal of hers as saying.
Besides working on her album, Winehouse has also been busy looking for a house.
She has had her eye on a 2.5million pounds pad complete with a gym and swimming pool in Hampstead, North London, but dad Mitch would like her to be further from the city.
