Srinagar, Aug 13 (UNI) About 70 people were injured, eighteen of them with bullet wounds, when security forces and police opened fire and burst teargas shells to disperse processionists supporting the Muzaffarabad march and protesting the killing of more than 20 people and injuries to over 500 during the past three days in the Valley.
Meanwhile, the toll in yesterday's police and security force firing has risen to 15 with the death of two more injured in the hospital today.
CRPF opened fire at Keller in Pulwama this evening to disperse a procession of about 5000 people.
Sources said three of the criticaly wounded, who had received bullet wounds in the head, were admitted to SKIMs at Soura.
The other injured were admitted to different hospitals.
Two persons received bullet injuries when CRPF opened fire at Gawkadal this evening.
