50 quintal electricity wire seized; 7 held

Bulandshehar, Aug 13 (UNI) Police have arrested seven thieves and seized 50 quintal electricity wire from them in Anoopshehar area here.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raj Kumar today said the accused were caught red-handed while committing the robbery late last night.

Besides the wire, the cops also seized two pistols and tools used in the theft.

The arrested have been sent to jail and a reward of Rs 2,500 declared for the winning team, the SSP added.
