Parties demand revocation of suspended TTD employees

Tirupati, Aug 12 (UNI) Expressing solidarity to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) employees 'Maha Dharna' against the suspension of its four officials, political leaders today demanded immediate revocation of the suspended employees.

They also demanded suspension of TTD vigilance officer Ramanakumar who submitted its report on the gold dollar missing case.

CPI(M) polit bureau member and state secretary B V Raghavulu, who attended the meeting organised in front of the TTD administrative building, demanded withdrawal of suspension orders on Special Grade Deputy Executive officer Prabhakara Reddy, local temple deputy executive officer Vasudevan and Tirumala Temple Superintendent E Ramachandra Reddy.

He said a 'House Committee' should be constituted to protect the precious jewellery of Srivari costing more than Rs 50,000 crore.

Tirupati Congress MLA Mr Venkataramana has also demanded the TTD Executive officer K V Ramanachary to open the reports filed by the CID(Crime Branch) and TTD Vigilance Officer Mr Harikumar and present TTD Vigilance Officer Ramanakumar before the Union leaders and punish the TTD officials if they were found guilty in the gold dollar missing case.

Among other political leaders who addressed the meeting are BJYM state leader Bhanuprakash Reddy and TDP leader Narasimha Yadav.
