Lawyers assault terrorists for raising anti-India slogans
Lucknow, Aug 12 (UNI) Irked over the ranting of anti-Indian and pro-Pakistan slogans, advocates today beat up the accused terrorists and their lawyer on the court premises here today.
In June, 2007, Naushad, Jallaluddin, Sheikh Jular Hussain, Mohd Ali Akbar Hussain, Azib-ur-rehman and Noor Islam were held with detonators, explosives and AK-47 rifle.
The accused were to be produced at Additional Sessional Judge Shaktikant's court.
However, as soon as the accused alighted from the police vehicle, they criticised India and praised Pakistan in full-pitched slogans.
Irked over the same, the lawyers on the court premises assaulted the criminals and their advocate A M Fareedi.
The court has fixed the next hearing for September 4.
