Patna, Aug 12 (UNI) The JD(U) today demanded immediate dismissal of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for his alleged involvement in land transfer in the name of his family members from aspirants to provide jobs in Railways.
JD(U) national spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari and its state unit president Rajeev Ranjan Singh said the party had urged Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to dismiss Mr Prasad from the Union Cabinet without any further delay along with ordering a thorough probe to expose the involvement of other personalities in this regard.
The JD(U) leaders also distributed the records and documents in relation to Mr Prasad's alleged involvement in the ''dubious deal'' of getting the land registered in name of his family members for providing jobs to the aspirants in Railways.
''The NDA leaders will hand over these documents to the Prime Minister and Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi and demand action against Mr Prasad, ''they further informed.
