Heavy rains likely at isolated places in south Madhya Maharashtra

Pune, Aug 12 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in south Madhya Maharashtra, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Ghat areas during the next 24 hours.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Goa, north Madhya Maharashtra and Greater Mumbai during the same period, according to forecast for Maharashtra, excluding Vidarbha and Goa.

Moderate to rather heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Konkan, Goa, Ghat areas and Madhya Maharashtra. Light to moderate rains are likely to occur at a few places in Marathwada.
