Fresenius Kabi to invest 10-13 mln euros in Dabur's Kolkata plant
New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) German pharma major Fresenius Kabi A G today said it will invest 10-13 million euros over the next three years in Dabur Pharma Ltd's active pharmaceutical ingredient plant in Kolkata.
'' With this investment in the Kalyani plant, we aim at doubling the capacity,'' Fresenius Kabi President and CEO Rainer Baule told reporters here.
The company is also looking at the US FDA and other necessary approvals for its other manufacturing state-of-art facility at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, by the year-end, Mr Baule added.
Fresenius Kabi, the wholly-owned unit of Fresenius SE, had bought 73.3 per cent share in Dabur Pharma in April and later increased the share up to 90.9 per cent, with acquiring 17.6 per cent stake in cash through a public offer.
