Fisherman's family missing in sea
Visakhapatnam, Aug 12: Four members of a fisherman's family went missing after they ventured into the sea despite warning by weather officials on Saturday, Aug 9 in the city.
Police said on Tuesday, Aug 12 that based on a complaint lodged by the fishermen's relatives, efforts were on to trace them.
The family also urged the District Collector to assist them.
Indian Coast Guard ship Priyadharashni had intensified its search operation to rescue the fishermen.
The fishermen identified as Vasupalli Lachana, V Nookaraju, V Bandayya and V Gantayyalu, belonged to Pcodimadaa village of Achythapuram mandal in the district, police added.
