BJP leader hits out at Cong, Left on SASB issue
Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) Criticising the UPA and the Left combine for 'communalising governance, fanning caste divisions and humilating majority community on every possible occasion,' BJP Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today demanded the restoration of land to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
In a statement here, he further demanded delimitation of constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir be taken up and grievances of Jammu region both in employment development and share in the government be addressed.
He alleged the Congress and its pseudo-secular allies had 'insulted Hindus on every occasion, be it on Ayodhya, Ram Setu or now on the issue of land allotment to SASB.' He claimed the Jammu and Kashmir Government's decision to revoke land allotment to the SASB 'was a complete surrender to the fundamentalist and separatist forces.' He alleged democracy, secularism and civility were under serious threat in Jammu and Kashmir and the protests by the people of Jammu and the BJP at the national level were against the ''monstrous'' act of revoking the land to the Board.
