Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Police were still clueless about whereabouts of the Bell 436 helicopter that went missing on August 3 with four persons on board while en route from Hyderabad to Raipur.

Search efforts had been hampered by heavy rains. Two specialist aircraft of the Air Force were carrying out search in Bijapur area.

Search was being carried out by CRPF and STF in Gangalur and Barsaguda area. Salwa Judum activists and Special Police Officers (SPOs) had also been given responsibility.

The copter, hired by the Chhattisgarh government from private air service provider Ran Air, took off from Hyderabad on August 3. The Bell 403 helicopter, with four persons, including pilot and engineer on board, lost contact with the ATC half-an-hour after it took off.
