Lawson Software opens it's office in India
{image-Lawson Software_11082008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Bangalore, Aug 11: US based Lawson Software, global provider of enterprise resource planning solutions and applications, on Monday, Aug 11 opened its India office in its attempt to expand activities in Asia-Pacific region.
Announcing the launch, Lawson Software President and CEO Harry Debes told newsmen here that the company which has established itself in fashion, food and beverage is looking forward to opportunity in Health Care and Public Sector. He said the company, which is already serving customers in India and Sri Lanka through partnership with Symphony Services and ETP International, proposes to draw on the expertise of more local partners and provide sales and marketing support through India office besides focusing on growth in the region along with its commitment to customers and partners in Asia-Pacific.
In response to a question, he said the company has registered 12 per cent year on year growth since 2005 when the turnover was USD 700 million and it was expected to touch USD 924 million in 2009.
