Jusco bags orders worth Rs 6,645 lakh from UCIL

Jamshedpur, Aug 11 (UNI) Tata Steel subsidiary Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company (JUSCO), the country's sole private sector civic services provider, has bagged a water treatment and supply project order from the Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) plant at Tummalapalle in Andhra Pradesh.

A JUSCO communique said here today that the foundation for the water system project was laid yesterday in the presence of Atomic Energy Commission Chairman and Department of Atomic Energy Secretary Dr Anil Kakodkar and JUSCO Managing Director Mr Sanjiv Paul.

Under this project comprising orders worth Rs 6,645 lakh, JUSCO will design, construct and commission an intake well as well as a pump-house.

This also involved setting up a cross country pipeline from Chitravoti river to the plant, water treatment plant, effluent treatment plant, condensate recovery unit and water supply network inside plant and colony.

JUSCO was already working on various projects in Kerala, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh.
