Chinese film festival celebrates Beijing Olympics in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Aug.11 : A week-long Chinese film festival for celebrating Beijing Olympic Games began in Dhaka on Saturday.
Inaugurating the festival in Dhaka University, Acting Director of the Institute of Modern Language of Dhaka University Abdur Rahim said, "We have arranged the Chinese film festival to express our gratitude to China, which has built the image of Asians through the Olympics."
According to China View, the week-long festival will show six Chinese films, including " Grief over the Yellow River", "Beautiful Homeland", "Snapshops of China", "Spring Subway", "The Birth of Shooting Star" and "Female Coach and Male Players".
The Institute of Modern Language of Dhaka University, in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, organized the festival that will end on August 15.
