BJP workers court arrest on Amarnath land issue

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (UNI) Senior BJP leader B Laxman and Party Andhra Pradesh unit President Bandaru Dattatreya, and activists courted arrest here today in protest against the cancellation of land allotment to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).

Staging the protest at Khairatabad, they said the stir would continue till the land was returned to SASB. Vehicular traffic was affected for more than two hours in the area.

The BJP leaders and workers were taken into custody by the police.
