New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) It was another warm and humid day in Delhi today with bright sunlight and high humidity levels leading to a rise in mercury to 35.8 degrees Celsius.
After a cool weather last week, caused by heavy rainfall, Delhiites woke up to a sunny day. The bright sunlight, coupled with high humidity level of 92 per cent, led to a rise in maximum temperature, from 35 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 35.8 degrees C, two degrees above normal.
The minimum was also recorded one degree above normal at 27.1 degrees Celsius.
The Capital could return to cool weather in the coming days with weathermen forecasting some rain and thundershowers during the next 24 hours.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky during the next 24 hours with rain and thundershowers in few areas.
