Bangalore, Aug 10 (UNI)The Hinduja Group today evinced keen interest to invest in Karnataka.
Hinduja Group (India) Chairman Ashok P Hinduja and Group President Dheeraj Hinduja who called on Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in Mumbai expressed their willingness to invest in power generation, airports and medical tourism.
Mr Yeddyurappa told the Hindujas that his government was ready to extend all help and support provided the Hinduja Group is ready to invest in the infrastructure projects like power, industrial corridors and tourism development, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Secretariat here.
The Chief Minister assured full support for the Hinduja Group's intention to build an International Convention Centre near Yelahanka and invest over Rs 1,000 crore in various projects in the State.
A team of representatives of Hindujas is expected to visit the State soon to hold discussions with the officials.Home Minister V S Acharya was present during the meeting.
