Washington, Aug.9 : Internet search engine Google has reminded investors yet again that YouTube has had absolutely no material effect on the company''s bottom line.
In the company''s most recent 10-Q SEC filing, Google reiterated the fact that YouTube has yet to generate much in sales.
"Revenues realized through the Google Print Ads Program, Google Audio Ads, Google TV Ads, Google Checkout, YouTube and Postini were not material in any of the periods presented," the company said in a statement.
The company also listed YouTube among its potential risks in the filing.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt publicly has discussed the YouTube revenue conundrum on more than one occasion.
