Panchkula to have several polyclinics
Chandigarh, Aug 9 (UNI) In a bid to provide better health services to the residents of Panchkula, one polyclinic in every four or five sectors would be opened.
Besides, mobile clinics would also be introduced to provide better health services to the people living in slums of Panchkula.
This was stated by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan, after reviewing the progress of various developmental works which were being carried out in Panchkula district in a meeting with the officers of various departments and Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula, R K Kataria here yesterday.
Mr Chander Mohan said sewerage system would be laid at a cost of Rs six crore in Pinjore Municipal Committee. With a view to provide potable drinking water to the people of Kalka constituency, Water Supply and Sanitation department would set up 24 new tubewells, he added.
