Explosives recovered and defused in Bihar
Darbhanga, Aug 9: About 500 grams of explosives were recovered from a fruit shop at Kathalwari area on Saturday, Aug 9 creating panic in the locality.
The police said acting on a tip-off an expert team raided the shop in the wee hours after cordoning off the entire area and recovered leathal powder, hidden in a wooden box inside the shop.
The box was taken outside and water poured on it to defuse the explosive material, police said.
None was arrested as the shop owner had fled before police arrived. A search was on to nab him.
