PDP worker dies of to heart attack after blast in north Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 8 (UNI) A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker died due to a heart attack after a blast in north Kashmir early this morning, official sources said.
Meanwhile, PDP has demanded an inquiry into the blast.
They said a blast took place at Gulshan Chowk, Bandipora, about 55 km from here, early this morning.
A PDP worker Ali Mohammad in the area suffered a massive heart attack and died before he could be shifted to hospital.
Senior PDP leader Nizam-u-Din Bhat has sought inquiry into the blast, alleging that the timing of the blast is suspicious as no security personnel were present in the area at that time.
He said this was the handiwork of the enemies of peace who want to derail the situation which is limping towards normalcy.
''Such gruesome acts are highly condemnable and needs a full fledged inquiry'', he said.
