Kolkata, Aug 8 (UNI) Hinting at reservation among the Left Front allies regarding the small car factory at Singur, All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) state committee secretary Ashok Ghosh today said Trinamool Chief Mamata Banerjee's readiness to have talks with Tatas smacked of her ''courage''.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Ghosh welcomed the move of the Trinamool supremo, observing that it would help resolve the matter.
'' Ms Banerjee emerged brave desiring to have discussion with Tatas to help solve the Singur issue, which we could not, '' he maintained.
Mr Ghosh, however, refused to elaborate.
He said protesting against the Nuke treaty, the AIFB would organise ''Mahamichhil'' in the city and in Siliguri on Setember one, the international ''Anti-Imperialism Day''.
Mr Ghosh also informed that to protest the entry of capitalists into the retail business, his party would also organise movements in Siliguri on September ten and in the city the next day.
Referring to the nationwide strike call on August 20, given by the central trade unions protesting the Nuke deal and price rise, he said the AIFB would extend its support to it.
